Improving SEO By Using Social Bookmarking With SocialAdr

Socialadr to boost bookmarks for websites, SEO, internet marketingYou might have read my recent blog post where I wrote about the changes that Google had made in early 2011 about how they score websites. I also mentioned that one of the reasons they made the changes was to target and downgrade the rankings of websites with false backlinks or bookmarks. The rule of thumb when it comes to SEO is, get a good score so you rank highly for your market, and get lots of traffic. Rank  badly and its unlikely you’re going to get any organic visitors to your site, that is to say, not many people using search engines for your product or service, are going to find you and as a result they are unlikely to click on your listing, to get through to your website. (Please note, this is not the case for paid for advertising such as Google Adwords. With a Google Adwords account, how many clicks you get is determined by the nature of your advert, and how much money you’re prepared to spend, not by the ranking of your webpage.)

Up until a couple of years ago if you had a new website or an existing website that was underperforming, you could plug into a variety of software tools or people, that would create 1,000s of backlinks for your website, thereby improving it. But as I have said, Google didn’t like this and put a stop to it. In fact, try this method these days (hard to believe but some people are so out of date, this is still happening) and your site will be unindexed from Google. How bad is this? It means that your site will never appear in search results. As if it doesn’t exist. This is extremely bad news.

What Is A Backlink Anyway?

A backlink is a marker on the internet, linking to your website. When someone includes a link in a tweet or blog post to your website, it leaves a marker which the search engines monitor. They used to just count how many there were, however, if you were Google a few years ago you’d have noticed that the quality of information on websites with the most backlinks was getting inconsistent. Obviously it didn’t take long before the problem was identified and the assumption that websites with the most backlinks weren’t providing quality content as they had often paid someone or had used a piece of software to artificially create those backlinks.

There is now an industry that has been born based around removing those backlinks for websites so they can start again.

Several alternative offerings have come about in recent times, one of which is SocialAdr (pronounced Social Adder)

SocialAdr – What Does It Do?

boost traffic to website using socialadr to create social bookmarksNatural, or organic bookmarks (or backlinks) have a particular pattern. I’m not going to go into any further detail but just accept that there is a clear difference between mass volleys of bookmarks popping up all over the world and natural bookmarks that are created sporadically and intermittently appearing, sometimes in geographical clusters and with a certain natural pattern to them.

So, what if you could find a way to replicate this natural process in a way that you could increase the rate at which bookmarks occur. That is precisely what SocialAdr have put together.

Imagine getting all of your friends together and getting them to bring their friends, into one large community. A community that agreed to share each others links, and so providing a quicker way to get noticed when a group picks up your link and puts it all over the internet. I’m not going to go into much more detail other than to say that because it is done by each individual coming from a different IP address at different times of the day, it reproduces a good natural model of sharing information.

What Google like to ‘see’ are links on social media and that’s what SocialAdr does. Google and Bing, both like to see variety and that’s what is created by this useful tool. It connects to 28(currently) social media platforms that a person has.

As with most things in life, nothing is ever truly ‘risk free’ but so long as you follow some good practices, the bookmarks producedSocialadr to increase traffic and SEO more backlinks by SocialAdr will be adding value and improving your search engine optimisation. It is possible to get a score of your website’s position on the search engines, apply SEO and then see the improvement. There are a lot of people thankful for having used SocialAdr.
